Friday Morning Study Group
Time: 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Place: Congregational Home Chapel
There is good evidence that as we grow older, we need to keep our minds working.
Each Friday morning, at 10:30 AM, we meet as a study group in the Chapel. We follow The Teaching Company’s Great Courses. In the past we have reviewed together The History of World Literature, Great Books of the World, Great Masters of Music, The Study of Religion, World History, and our most recent study, Before 1776: Life in the American Colonies. Our next topic will be American Ideals: ”Founding a Republic of Virtue.”
Each week we receive a handout for the study, to prepare ourselves. We follow he topics on a video and then have discussion together. This is a learning experience and keeps us thinking, and we have fun together.
