Short-Term Rehabilitation walking and lower body strength

Congregational Home offers Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy to older adults who have experienced events such as strokes or fractures and also those who have planned surgeries such as joint replacement.

Physical therapy helps individuals address problems with pain, balance, walking and lower body strength. One of the primary goals of physical therapy is to prevent falls.

Occupational therapy concentrates on issues of self-care, including personal hygiene, dressing and performance of daily living functions such as meal preparation and laundry. Therapists also work with individuals experiencing pain or decreased function in their arms or hands. Adaptive equipment may be introduced to make every day activities safer and easier.physical therapy

Speech therapy focuses on communication issues with individuals experiencing problems with memory, problem solving or swallowing.

At Congregational Home we are dedicated to providing a healing environment for the rehabilitation process. Our interdisciplinary team offers education and encouragement with a focus on helping patients return home.

When choosing where to rehab, why not choose congregational Home? We’d be honored to help you!
